DO YOU WANT THE GREAT RESET?

Welcome To 2030: I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy And Life Has Never Been Better” (Ida Auken, Global Future Council On Cities And Urbanization Of The World Economic Forum, Forbes Magazine, Nov 10, 2016 https://www.forbes.com/sites/worldeconomicforum/2016/11/10/shopping-i-cant-really-remember-what-that-is-or-how-differently-well-live-in-2030/)

The above quote is the title of an article written by Ida Auken, a member of the Global Future Council On Cities And Urbanization Of The World Economic Forum. Remember her name and the article that she is quoted in. I will refer to it again further down in this writing. Auken's quote and article was contributed by the World Economic Forum and printed in Forbes Magazine. Ida Auken is also a member of the Danish parliament and along with other world leaders is promoting a Great Reset of this world's financial and social structures, a New World order that would dramatically change the lives of millions or perhaps even billions of people. What is the “Great Reset?”

I don’t think that we are being told the whole story, but The Great Reset likely will be something like this: the elimination or stripping back of personal wealth, the elimination or restriction of personal property, the elimination or reduction of personal privacy and in its place a new system where the government and/or multi-national corporations own everything or many/most things and hold great power. This reset would also wipe out personal debt and is supposed to deliver a socialist system where everyone's needs are met by the state. It is being promoted as a Utopia in contrast to our present world of inequality and struggle.

Let's dissect this and look at it more closely. For starters, what is the World Economic Forum? The World Economic Forum was established in 1971 and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. According to themselves : “The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.” Its founder is Prof. Klaus Schwab. It is comprised of representatives from many of the big-name, multi-national companies of the world as well as many world political leaders and select privileged individuals. It is a club for the very wealthy. Wikipedia reports that in 2011 an annual membership cost was $52,000 for an individual, $263,000 for "Industry Partner" and $527,000 for "Strategic Partner". In short, The World Economic Forum is a globalist club of corporate and political leaders and super-wealthy individuals who meet to strategize and shape world economies.

What are the strategies that The World Economic Forum are trying to bring about. They want a New World Order and a Great Reset. The “Great Reset” was the name for the 50th meeting of the World Economic Forum in June of 2020. Perhaps the biggest emphasis of the Great Reset is environmental conservationism. To achieve the kind of environmental conservationism that they would like to see accomplished, it will require dramatic restrictions on individual freedoms and individual liberties. The Great Reset also promotes green-technology and would usher in a new wave of super-technology that would make use of  artificial intelligence, nano-technology, quantum computing and more.

The World Economic Forum is perhaps the single greatest driver for this radical global change that will eliminate, replace or change  the world's current financial and social structures into a New World Order driven by environmental conservationism, a new modern socialism and a flood of super-technology.

The Great Reset also incorporates a new modern form of socialism. Countries are encouraged to adopt programs of Guaranteed Income for their populations. In this arrangement populations will receive their financial support from the government. They will either choose to supplement their financial support or perhaps even live off of it completely. However, in this system there will be less private  property, or at least fewer people holding private property. On the World Economic Forum's website they claim: “Universal basic income is the answer to the inequalities exposed by COVID-19.” (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/04/covid-19-universal-basic-income-social-inequality/)

The form of The Universal Basic Income that they promote is “to sustain a person at a modest minimum, leaving sufficient incentives to work, save, and invest.” (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/04/covid-19-universal-basic-income-social-inequality/)However,

The World Economic Forum suggests that such Universal Basic Income should come with conditions placed on individuals. They say; “ Finally, good arguments can be made for having very selective conditions – for instance, some that relate to public goods, like vaccinating all children and ensuring they attend school.” (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/04/covid-19-universal-basic-income-social-inequality/)

Will the Great Reset and the new system include every living person? Apparently not. Such a system will be focused on those living in cities, at least at first. City-dwellers will be completely reliant on the infrastructure of the cities, which of course, will be controlled by the government. However, there will be those who reject the system and choose to live and work remotely and rurally.

Ida Auken refers to such ones who choose to live and work remotely and rurally in her article printed in Forbes Magazine. She says “My biggest concern is all the people who do not live in our city. Those we lost on the way. Those who decided that it became too much, all this technology. Those who felt obsolete and useless when robots and AI took over big parts of our jobs. Those who got upset with the political system and turned against it. They live different kind of lives outside of the city. Some have formed little self-supplying communities. Others just stayed in the empty and abandoned houses in small 19th century villages.” (https://www.forbes.com/sites/worldeconomicforum/2016/11/10/shopping-i-cant-really-remember-what-that-is-or-how-differently-well-live-in-2030/)

This is very concerning language. Auken is all-in on the new system, but she foresees people who have escaped this new system by living remotely and rurally. What is her view of such people? Are we all appreciated for our different values, different priorities and different ways of life? Not really. To her such people are her “biggest concern”.  She is frustrated over losing them instead of winning them over. She associates them with living in “19th century villages”. It bothers her that such ones are “upset with the political system”.

I said earlier that the membership of The World Economic Forum included political leaders from many countries. Would all members be fully committed to all of the radical changes that leaders in  The World Economic Forum are promoting? Not necessarily. Some leaders may just want to be informed what their neighbouring countries may be adopting. Some may not be committed, some partially committed and then others leaders all-in, fully committed. What about Canada? How does the Liberal government of Justin Trudeau view the Great Reset?

My concern is that some Canadian Liberals appear to be  enthusiastic for the World Economic Forum and/or its Great Reset. Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, is a member of The World Economic Forum's Board of Trustees. Justin Trudeau, speaking at the World Economic Forum in 2018 said “Think about it: The pace of change has never been this fast, yet it will never be this slow again. There’s enormous opportunity, and enormous potential, in that realization.” He goes on to extol the role that technology has played in progress and also warns; “But it also brings dramatic shifts in our social, economic, and political cultures.” He says “We’re in a new age of doing business – you need to give back.” He also says “Now, I understand that the burden of change falls heavy, and you cannot be expected to solve all the ills of the world. But sitting back and hoping some other corporation – or some other country –volunteers to take the lead on this will get us nowhere. We have to drive this change. Each and every one of us.” (Justin Trudeau quoted from Justin Trudeau's Davos address in full. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/01/pm-keynote-remarks-for-world-economic-forum-2018/)

Trudeau is passionate for driving the change and on June 11, 2020 met with the then Prince of Wales and some other Permanent Representatives to the United Nations and spoke to them about the Great Reset initiative. At the “Victoria Forum 2020” the Governor of The Bank of Canada delivered a speech titled "The Great Reset" in which he warned that “COVID-19 is resulting in a "structural shock with broad impact worldwide" and that “...governments, investors in the corporate and financial sector—including central banks, and individuals households, need to evaluate risks and prepare for transitions.” (Beaudry, Paul (August 2020). The Great Reset: Supporting the transition to a greener, smarter economy (PDF). Victoria Forum 2020. Bank of Canada. Archived (PDF) from the original on 2020-11-26. Retrieved January 26, 2021.) In a 2020 speech that was a part of a United Nations video conference, Trudeau said that;
“this pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset,” and to “re-imagine economic systems,” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2fp0Jeyjvw)

Conservative Party leader MP Pierre Marcel Poilievre has pushed back against the  Great Reset. Poilievre has started a petition calling for the government to abandon plans for a Great Reset and apparently gathered 70,000 signatures in three days. This short petition simply says:

Whereas Justin Trudeau told a United Nations conference: 'This pandemic has provided an OPPORTUNITY for a RESET. This is our CHANCE to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to REIMAGINE economic systems... .'

Whereas global financial elites have called for the same "Great Reset", which would reengineer economies and societies to empower the elites at the expense of the people;

Whereas Canadians must fight back against global elites preying on the fears and desperation of people to impose their power grab.

We the undersigned call on the government to:

 End plans to impose the "Great Reset";

Focus instead on protecting the lives and livelihoods of hardworking people;

Protect our freedom." This petition can be signed at https://www.withpierre.ca/stopthegreatreset

At this time, (September 2022) an NDP sponsored bill, Bill C-223 has gone through a first reading in the Canadian House Of Commons. It is “An Act to develop a national framework for a guaranteed livable basic income” (https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/44-1/bill/C-223/first-reading)

The lure of free money and a utopia concept where the government provides your needs for you, so that you will have no worries, is appealing to many. However, the socialist regimes of history all promised their people a Utopia that their populations would supposedly love. From Russia, East Germany, Romania, China, Vietnam, Ethiopia and elsewhere the socialist Utopia turned out to be much less than what was promised. Their standards of living fell much lower than expectations. Socialist governments also brought in strict police-states that were ruthless in their treatment of their people. Once the system was set up the people of those nations could not change their minds. They could only endure the on-going suffering, which in some cases has lasted right down to these times that we are living in now.

What if once you own nothing and have no privacy you decide that you don't like it? What if in the end the promises of politicians fall short and deliver a much lower standard of living than what you had been led to believe? The World Economic Forum recommends that governments place conditions on who is eligible for the support. What if you don't like those conditions? What if those conditions increase over time? While you are pondering these questions globalist elites are advancing a plan. Reset everything, change everything, own everything (that is them, not us). The world is changing at an incredible pace.  Do you want a great reset? There is a flood of technology coming and everything will greatly speed up. Some of us may escape, to a degree, by fleeing the cities, living remotely, and living independently. The architects of this new system are greatly concerned. Their chief concern is over those of us who don't want it.

So what can we do to resist the Great Reset? Is there anything that we should do to prepare for this clash of the world of the globalists with our own world? There are things that we can do to prevent the Great Reset and there are things that we can do to survive the Great Reset. To prevent the Great Reset, first of all, go to the highest authority,  pray that God would intervene and spoil all of the plans of our opponents.   God hears the prayers of His people and many times is waiting for us to involve Him in our lives. He is powerful enough and may  stop the Great Reset, in answer to our prayers. Secondly, vote globalist Liberals and NDP out of power and replace them with conservative-minded or right-wing leaders.  Check out the campaigns of   politicians and you will find that there is much opposition to the Great Reset and to the World Economic Forum.Vote into power the kind of leaders that will protect the nation from the ambitions of globalist elites.
To survive the Great Reset if it does occur, pursue a lifestyle that is as independent as possible from the government. Would you consider living rurally and/or remotely? Would you consider working online for your income, perhaps for an employer outside of this country.Would you even consider relocation outside of this country?  Less dramatic action, and yet wise preparatory action, might include getting out of debt, living on less money than you make, learning new skills and becoming a prepper. All of these steps are investments into your own security. If you are a Christian, remember the promise; "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." (Hebrews 13:6 KJV) Believer you are the apple of God’s eye and He will make a way for us. Remember these words and this example for us; “Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.” (Psalm 22:4-5KJV) Let us trust Him again and not be confounded.  God bless you as you look to Him, trust and stand!

CANADIAN DIGITAL CURRENCY

For the  Globalist dream of a Great Reset to roll forward it would seem that three major initiatives must first be put into place. Those initiatives are Digital ID, Digital Currency and Universal Basic Income. The Liberal government has not made definitive statements that it will bring such a currency about but they have said

"Budget 2022 announces the government’s intention to launch a financial sector legislative review focused on the digitalization of money and maintaining financial sector stability and security. ... The review will examine, among other factors: how to adapt the financial sector regulatory framework and toolbox to manage new digitalization risks; how to maintain the security and stability of the financial system in light of these evolving business models and technological capabilities; and, the potential need for a central bank digital currency in Canada.” https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/news/2022/04/canadas-leadership-in-the-world.html

The focus of this article is to look at the possibility and consequences of a Canadian Digital Currency.

What is digital currency and doesn't it already exist? Digital currency is electronic currency that does not have a paper form to it and yes, it already exists. Cryptocurrency is defined by Wikipedia as “A cryptocurrency, crypto-currency, crypto, or coin isdigital currency designed to work as a medium of exchange through a computer network that is not reliant on any central authority, such as a government or bank, to uphold or maintain it.[2]” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency)

The key point to the above quote is that no central authority “such as a government or bank” can control it. That is why governments hate cryptocurrency, that is, the present cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and others. However, some politicians dream of a digital currency that they could control, manipulate, issue, distribute, inflate, deflate, etc. This would be a Canadian Central Bank Digital Currency issued and controlled by the Bank of Canada, not by individual Canadian Banks. We would then have two Canadian currencies, the Canadian Dollar and a Central Bank Digital Currency.

Are other governments launching digital currencies? Yes. Ten countries in the world now have digital currencies including China and Nigeria. India has one planned for 2022/2023 and Mexico has one planned for 2024. According to atlanticcouncil.org, 105 countries are exploring the possibility of central bank digital currencies.

Is Canada one of these countries exploring Central Bank Digital Currency? According to CBC News “The Bank of Canada has also been conducting research into a CBDC Canadian dollar — essentially, a digital loonie that is verified by the government the same way our "regular" money is.”(https://www.cbc.ca/radio/spark/if-we-build-the-metaverse-will-anybody-come-1.6312339/government-issued-digital-currency-could-be-the-coin-of-the-future-1.6312460) However, CBC News says; “However, late last year, the Bank of Canada said that, for the moment, it would not launch a digital currency. "What I understand from discussions that happen in the Bank for International Settlements and by research they have been publishing, [there are] a lot of open questions and interesting topics on international coordination,""(Katrin Tinn quoted in CBC “Government-issued digital currency could be the coin of the future”https://www.cbc.ca/radio/spark/if-we-build-the-metaverse-will-anybody-come-1.6312339/government-issued-digital-currency-could-be-the-coin-of-the-future-1.6312460)

It would seem that the Bank Of Canada is waiting for now, undecided over  creating a Central Bank Digital currency. Also it must be said that the Liberal/NDP government has not made definitive statements that it will bring such a currency about. What have they said?

The 2022 Budget for the Canadian government, chapter 9 section 2 features this selection:

"‘Budget 2022 announces the government’s intention to launch a financial sector legislative review focused on the digitalization of money and maintaining financial sector stability and security. The first phase of the review will be directed at digital currencies, including cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.

Budget 2022 also proposes $17.7 million over five years, starting in 2022-23, to the Department of Finance to lead the review.

The review will examine, among other factors: how to adapt the financial sector regulatory framework and toolbox to manage new digitalization risks; how to maintain the security and stability of the financial system in light of these evolving business models and technological capabilities; and the potential need for a central bank digital currency in Canada.’"

https://budget.gc.ca/2022/report-rapport/chap9-en.html#wb-cont

What do we find if we go to the Bank Of Canada's own website? We find their article “The road to digital money: From beaver pelts to paper money to digital currency”

In it they say “We’re looking ahead to imagine how we’ll pay for things in the future.”; “ Research is underway at the Bank of Canada, because exploring the idea of a central bank digital currency makes sense. In theory, it could provide the safety of cash, with the convenience of modern electronic payments.” (https://www.bankofcanada.ca/2019/04/the-road-to-digital-money/#:~:text=Research%20is%20underway%20at%20the,convenience%20of%20modern%20electronic%20payments.&text=account%2Dbased%E2%80%94people%20and%20businesses,account%20at%20the%20central%20bank.)

Conservative MPs are mounting a resistance to the adoption of a Central Bank Digital Currency. The Globe And Mail reports that Conservative MP and Party leader Pierre Poilievre; “... said that, if he becomes prime minister, he would bar the Bank of Canada from issuing a central-bank digital currency.” (https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-poilievre-has-a-point-on-central-bank-digital-currencies/)

Conservative MP Leslin Lewis has said; “But I am extremely concerned about the repercussions of digital currency in general. The wide acceptance and daily use of digital currency is the quickest way for the government to implement a social credit system. We already live in a world where businesses and our own digital devices are sharing way to much information about our purchasing habits. When our dollars themselves are purely digital, it would be nothing for the government to start forcing businesses, as they did with our banks, to share information and build a social credit system.” (https://leslynlewis.ca/blog/can-digital-currency-save-us/))

Poilievre explains that Central Bank Digital Currency will create a competition between commercial banks and the Bank Of Canada. It would "nationalize" banking and could lead to "politicized banking."

He warns that it would “be akin to a state-run bank and politicians could 'bestow blessings on voters'" and “'begin making election promises of more generous interest rates for depositors or other benefits.'"  He further warns that such a system would also destroy privacy. Poilievre says "It can surveil what you're doing, what you're spending and potentially abuse your civil liberties," (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/poilievre-bank-of-canada-audit-1.6433860)

Such a Central Bank Digital Currency could make a “run on the bank scenario” much easier to occur. Currently, when large numbers of people attempt to withdraw money from banks all at once, the process is slowed by the fact that banks don't have enough cash on hand to supply such a need. A digital currency does not have this problem. Everyone could withdraw their digital currency instantaneously without any delay and thus it could crash instantaneously.

However, if a Canadian Central Bank Digital Currency is created, I do not suspect that a crash of this currency is as likely as a crash of the Canadian dollar would be. The situation that concerns me is that if a Canadian Central Bank Digital Currency is created, many of our political leaders might convert all of their personal money into this form and then let the Canadian dollar crash. In such a scenario all of our financial assets could be wiped out over-night if we don't go along with the new digital currency once it comes available. These political leaders wouldn't necessarily care, if they had already switched their funds over to the digital form before the crash.

The above situation could  happen. The question is, is there any way that this situation could not happen? Could two Canadian currencies exist in competition with each other without one winning out over the other? Once a Central Bank Digital Currency outperforms the Canadian dollar, Canadians on mass may abandon Canadian cash for digital cash and the Canadian dollar would crash.

The Canadian dollar is already weak. Why? Because the Bank Of Canada keeps printing more and more of it. They over-produce it and this leads to a devaluing of it. This will eventually lead to a crash of the Canadian dollar. Will the Bank of Canada  keep going down this fateful road. Having an alternative digital currency only encourages this trend even more, because it creates a way for politicians and presumably, other Canadians, to hedge themselves from the crash, by converting to digital. Once the Canadian dollar has crashed the government could print off enough Canadian dollars to cover the national debt and pay off the national debt -great reset in a nutshell. Pay off the entire Canadian national debt with worthless Canadian dollars, all without many of our politicians taking any personal financial losses because their personal financial assets are hedged in Canadian Digital currency-The great Reset.

Many Canadians who have significant financial assets are leaving this country. They see what is coming.   They don't want to give up control of their financial assets to the government. They don't want to loose it all in the crash.

A Central Bank Digital Currency is a major element to the Great Reset. While Liberal Globalists and the Bank of Canada executives are looking ahead and imagining how we’ll pay for things in the future in a digital way, many Canadians reject such plans and don't want our government messing with our Canadian dollars. We want a government that will be committed to our Canadian dollar, that will raise the value of our Canadian dollar and will protect it from a crash rather than exploit the benefits of such a crash,

ALBERTA THE LAND OF THE FREE

The province of Alberta is known and loved by millions for its natural beauty. It's landscape is a rich variety of open plains, rugged mountains, forests and lakes. It is home to North America’s largest mountain range. Dinosaurs once roamed this province and have left their remains. Adventure-seekers from all over Canada flock to Alberta, especially to Banff and Jasper's spectacular national parks.

However, Alberta is known for more than just its natural beauty. There is something else about Alberta that stands out among Canadian provinces. Alberta screams freedom!

Alberta is known for its conservatism and its libertarian values. It is known for its  rugged independence and its many historical stands against the policies of the Federal Liberal government in Ottawa. Alberta is the home of Rebel News. It is the home of the Freedom Convoy Truckers movement. It is the Canadian heartland for social conservatism and political conservatism.

Political conservatism  is presently in power under the leadership of premier Mrs. Danielle Smith. Previous to her, Albertans remembered struggling under Covid rolling lock-downs, discrimination, segregation, and confinement,  but now, Albertans have broken free.

Prior to being the leader of the United Conservatives and being premier of Alberta, Smith was a journalist and then the leader of the Wild Rose party. In October, 2022 she won the leadership race for the United Conservative Party and then became premier.

From the moment Smith stepped into the position of premier, the gloves have been off and she is leading a province-wide push-back against the Trudeau/Singh government, a push-back which is growing in its momentum.

This push-back has been most evident with the passing of the landmark legislation, “The Sovereignty Act.” This legislation was passed on December 8, 2022. This Act seeks to protect the common Albertan man, woman and child from Federal legislation that would harm, abuse, take advantage of, or exploit them. It purposes to especially protect them in areas such as natural resources, gun control, COVID-19, public health, education, and agriculture. It boldly directs "political entities"—which include municipalities, municipal police forces, school boards,  and regional health authorities— to not enforce "federal rules deemed harmful to Alberta's interests."

How could such an Act nullify a Federal law? It is proposed that the Act would be triggered when a member of the executive council

tables a motion in the legislative assembly which would identify a specific federal law or policy that may be considered to be unconstitutional, that is, in violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or if it was outside of the jurisdiction of the Federal government. The provincial legislative assembly would then vote on whether or not to expunge that Federal law. This is meant to reign in the Federal government and keep it from abusing its authority, exploiting common Albertans and to stop it from trying to govern in matters of provincial jurisdiction.

This bold legislation is truly historic. What is coming next?

Although she  supported it, and brought it into law, the Sovereignty Act was not the idea of Danielle Smith. Where did the idea come from? It is apart of a larger strategy known as “Free Alberta Strategy” from the Alberta Institute. This organization is a liberty-loving political think-tank which seeks to advance freedom in Alberta and to protect Albertans from Federal overreach. It is important to acknowledge that Danielle Smith has not officially committed to implementing all of the Alberta Strategy, but  she is very aware of it, is a friend of the Alberta Institute and has interviewed them before.

The Free Alberta Strategy is a multi-layered strategy that includes proposals such as:
 1) Replacing Federal RCMP police forces with local police forces that are directly answerable to the provincial government.
 2)    Pass an Alberta independent Banking Act
 3)    Pass an Equalization And Termination And Tax Collection Act
 4)    Alberta Pension Plan and Alberta Unemployment Insurance
 5)    Pass an Alberta Judicial Independence Activities
 6)    Establish International Relations and Trade
Let's now consider these more closely in the words of Free Alberta Strategy:

1)Replacing Federal RCMP police forces with local police forces that are directly answerable to the provincial government.
The Province also has recognized authority28 over all policing in the province, though it has contracted, at this point in time, the federally-controlled RCMP to exercise this power in most of the Province’s rural and smaller communities. It is proposed that the Alberta government terminate its contract with the RCMP immediately and replace rural policing in the province with an Alberta provincial police force, accountable to the Solicitor General of Alberta. All municipal police forces (i.e., Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, etc.) already operate under provincial authority. This reform would ensure the Province controls all aspects of law enforcement against the person.

2)Pass an Alberta Independent Banking Act

The Free Alberta Strategy proposes passage of the Alberta Independent Banking Act, which would include the following initiatives: 1. Expanding the number of provincially regulated financial institutions and credit unions; 2. Promoting private ownership of these new financial institutions; and 3. Mandating that all provincially regulated financial institutions and credit unions (including ATB) remain compliant with the Alberta Sovereignty Act as it relates to the non-enforcement of federal laws and court decisions deemed to infringe unduly on Alberta’s provincial jurisdiction.
...
3)Pass an Equalization And Termination And Tax Collection Act

The Free Alberta Strategy proposes passage of the Equalization Termination and Tax Collection Act. This piece of legislation would: 1. Establish the “Alberta Revenue Agency” to collect all provincial taxes; 2. Create the Office of the Alberta Public Sector Employer (“APSE”), which would become the official payor of all Alberta public sector employees. There would be no changes [of] to any collective bargaining agreements, salaries, pensions, or other benefits for these workers as negotiated by their current provincially funded public employers. The only change would be that the APSE would become the provincial agency issuing their paycheck (much like a private corporation paying its staff through an independent payroll company). The APSE would then remit these withholdings to the Alberta Revenue Agency. 3. Permit any private corporation banking with ATB or other provincially regulated financial institution the option of transferring all federal source deductions collected from their employees directly to the Alberta Revenue Agency, instead of the CRA. 4. Mandate that instead of remitting all of the federal tax withholdings 27 collected from private companies and the APSE to the CRA, the Alberta Revenue Agency would instead transfer an amount equal to that of the equalization and federal transfers the federal Government collected from Alberta during that year to the Alberta Treasury and, any surplus remaining thereafter, to the CRA. 5. Opt Alberta out of all federal transfer and other programs that interfere and seek to influence policy in any areas of provincial jurisdiction (i.e., the Canada Health Act, Federal Heath Transfer, education transfers, national daycare program funding, etc.), and officially request the transfer of our population’s share of these federal programming dollars, either through an annual ‘no-strings-attached’ federal transfer amount (based strictly on a per-capita population basis) or, preferably, through the transfer of tax points from Albertans’ federal tax rate to Alberta’s provincial tax rate. If the federal government refuses Alberta’s request, the Alberta Treasury would, using the same method described in the previous paragraphs, increase the amount of federal tax withholdings it retains by those same amounts.
(Free Alberta Strategy)

4)Alberta Pension Plan and Alberta Unemployment Insurance

Over the past 10 years, Alberta’s hardworking and comparatively young population has contributed approximately $28 billion more into the CPP than Alberta pensioners have received back in benefits,41 which is an annual cost of nearly $3 billion. This inequity is a substantial portion of the roughly $20 billion in equalization formula and net federal transfers drained from the Province each year.42 There is absolutely no reason for Alberta’s continued participation in the CPP. ...

Properly planned and managed, opting out of the CPP in favour of an Alberta Pension Plan, and replacing EI with an Alberta Unemployment Insurance Plan, would result in a combination of higher benefits for our seniors and those facing unemployment, and lower contribution rates from the paychecks of Alberta workers, thereby benefiting Alberta families to the tune of hundreds, and even thousands, of dollars each year. These are long overdue reforms.
Pass an Alberta Judicial Independence Activities
(Free Alberta Strategy)

5)Pass an Alberta Judicial Independence Activities

The  Alberta Judicial Independence Act, which would mandate as follows: 1. The Alberta government shall appoint all future judicial appointments serving in the Province of Alberta (Provincial, Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal); 2. No future federal judicial appointees will be employed by the Province of Alberta at any court level. Current judges and justices would be ‘grandfathered’ and remain fully employed on the Bench thereby ensuring continuity and recognizing their historical respect for the constitutional rights of Alberta; and 3. The Province would establish a Provincial Tax Court to enforce all provincial tax collection and enforcement activities within the Province of Alberta free from any interference by federal tax courts and the CRA
(Free Alberta Strategy)
 6)    Establish International Relations and Trade

The Free Alberta Strategy calls on the Government of Alberta to fund and empower its Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs to: 1. Negotiate and implement mutually beneficial bilateral trade and market access arrangements with other provinces, states and 33 nations that result in Alberta gaining full access to all domestic and international markets, including to and through the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans; 2. Work closely with industry on ways to reduce risks associated with the construction of export pipelines and other market access projects; and 3. Work alongside the Government of Canada at any international negotiations of agreements that affect Alberta’s interests. Should the federal government sign on to an agreement that harms Alberta’s interests, Alberta’s Intergovernmental Affairs Minister must alert the Provincial Legislature, and request that it trigger use of the Alberta Sovereignty Act, thereby ensuring the Province will not recognize the validity of that agreement as it affects Alberta; and further, that Alberta will not enforce any federal law or regulation in the province related thereto.

The above mentioned proposals were put together by legal experts and represent a path forward in  Alberta's struggle to be free. Each will likely have to be defended at a supreme court level. However, they  represent a path forward.

In the mean time, what has Danielle Smith committed to do?
Here is some of her platform:

-Defending Alberta’s rights under the Canadian constitution

-Accessing federal funding, without strings, to meet Albertan’s needs, values and priorities

-Pushing back against federal programs that create hardships for farmers and ranchers

-Developing stronger relationships with other provinces and territories for areas of cooperation and mutual economic prosperity

-Index all provincial tax brackets retroactive to 2022 resulting in larger rebates on taxes

-Provide an additional $200 per home in rebates on consumer electricity bills and limit spikes in winter electricity rates. Continue natural gas rebate program

-$600 over 6 months to parents for each child under 18 and to every senior (household incomes under $180,000)

-Suspend the provincial fuel tax for at least six month and make the fuel relief program permanent thereafter

-Creating conditions to grow industries, businesses, and job opportunities

-Enhancing trade infrastructure and agreements

-Reducing barriers to interprovincial trade for agriculture and food production

-Continued leadership in hydrogen and petrochemicals and development in helium, lithium, liquefied natural gas, geothermal energy, and minerals

-Developing strategies to address labour market gaps

-Taking action to improve health care delivery and health outcomes

-Improving EMS response times and cut emergency wait times

-Improving access to primary care and address staffing challenges, especially in rural areas

-Reducing wait times for surgeries

There was a provincial election on May 29 in Alberta. Smith won it big! Alberta's potential is incredible. The floodgates of freedom and prosperity will open wide. If the NDP had won, the Sovereignty Act would have been repealed. Alberta screams freedom! Go Danielle Smith! It is time for reform.

VIEWS ON SECULAR GOVERNMENT

I believe that government exists to serve the population of our nation, by seeing that public institutions, ministries, services and protections are funded and operational. Government should work to foster greater freedom in society. It should not interfere with the charter rights of citizens nor with the inalienable rights of citizens, who have received those inalienable rights from God.

Government should be small and unintrusive, in contrast to Liberal and socialist governments which are over-reaching in their activity and their surveillance of citizens. Nowhere has this over-reach been more apparent than in regards to attacking freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of mobility, freedom of anonymity and freedom of bodily autonomy.

I want government to understand that they do not own us and when they become too intrusive into the lives of citizens they should expect push-back. As free individuals and free citizens, we do not accept government telling us what we must believe or speak or not speak if this requirement violates our values.

The greatest threats to society are not climate change or gender inequality. The greatest dangers to society are government leaders,  abusing the power of their office to bully and persecute free citizens, taking away their freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of mobility, freedom of anonymity and freedom of bodily autonomy.

In Canada, Liberal and socialist governments have become exceedingly ideological and intrusive. I contend that a postmodern, progressive, LGBT activist, woke ideology is at odds with Christian faith. For Canada to be a free country, the opposite worldview to the above-mentioned ideology must be allowed to have full expression.

We insist on the right to live and speak the truth of our faith in a shrinking world of conflicting values. For any true Christian, a Bible-based sexual ethic is integral to his or her sacred faith belief. God's word, the Bible, restricts sexual union to marriage and marriage between a man and a woman. (see 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Colossians 3:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Ephesians 5:3, Romans 13:13, Hebrews 13:4, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-28, Mark 10:6-9) We insist on the right to live and teach this standard in obedience to our God.

As Christians, we believe that human life is sacred. (see Genesis 2:7, Genesis 1:27, Deuteronomy 5:17, Genesis 9:6, Jeremiah 1:5) This means that we regard abortion and euthanasia as murder and genocide and condemn these actions.(see Job 31:15, Jeremiah 1:5)

We also believe from our interpretation of our holy scriptures that there will be a future one-world government and that the future one-world government will be totally evil, led by the anti-Christ. (see 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12, Revelation 13:7-8)For this reason we oppose globalism and instead stand for national sovereignty. Liberals and socialists are hyper-globalist, making their worldview incompatible with ours. We regard hyper-globalism as bordering on treason as Liberal Canadian governments collude with foreign syndicates such as The World Economic Forum and others, in favour of foreign interests and not Canadian interests. We strongly oppose such collusion.

As free individuals and free citizens, created in the image of God, we insist on the right to reject the ideology, worldview, value system and harmful vaccines of Liberals and socialists. We insist on the right to believe, live and speak the truth of our faith, to follow our God and His commission for our lives without interference from secular government.

Having said all of this we also make clear that we do not hate anyone. We hate sin, not the sinner. Our hopes for those who disagree with us is that they would find God's forgiveness and love, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We do not advocate violence, but rather, peacefully protest  against a government that opposes us for our sacred beliefs. We also choose to forgive those who have wronged us. May God give us endurance to peacefully, yet uncompromisingly push for reform in this great nation.

I SHAWN YOUR BROTHER IN THE TRIBULATION

I, John, [f]both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Revelation 1:9 footnote Revelation 1:9 NU, M omit both)

The Book of Revelation is a very special New Testament book, which concludes all of the 66 books within our English Bibles. It is most commonly accepted that the Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation (Although there is some dissension to this viewpoint). This book tells “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, ...” (see Revelation 1:1) In it He gives direction for churches, reveals heavenly scenes and foretells future events. Of great significance to future events are chapters 6 through 19 which are commonly interpreted to be speaking of The Great Tribulation period.

John, who was seeing and writing down this great vision, this great revelation, refers to himself as “I, John, [f]both your brother and companion in the tribulation ...” What did he mean? This Great Tribulation was yet future. In fact, it is still future and John has been dead for about two thousand years. Even though John did not live during the Great Tribulation, he saw The Great Tribulation in vision form, in considerable detail. In what he saw, what made the greatest impression upon him?

One thing that surely made an impression on John was the persecution of believers and their faithful resistance to the kingdom of darkness. In chapter 13 we read of an evil anti-Christ kingdom, led by the beast, and/or another beast who causes people to take a mark identifying them with the beast. Those who refuse are shut out of society, not being able to buy or sell. Many who refuse to worship the beast are put to death. In chapter 20:4 we read of “... the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. ...”

It is these faithful ones whose witness for Jesus had endured to the end, that John finds identification with. What do I mean by “ finds identification with?” He identifies with them, finds inclusion with them. In fact, there is a brotherhood to tribulation. “ I, John, [f]both your brother and companion in the tribulation ...” There is a companionship in it. There is a partnership in it. The English Standard version translates; “I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation ...” The Berean Standard Bible translates; “I John, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation  ...” The New American Standard translates; “I, John, your brother and fellow participant in the tribulation ...”

John may have not actually lived through The Great Tribulation but still he was no stranger to tribulation. What happened to John?According to early Church father, Tertullian (in The Prescription of Heretics) John was subjected to boiling oil in Rome and miraculously survived it. This would have occurred in the late 1st century, under the rule of Emperor Domitian, who was known for his persecution of Christians. After surviving the oil tribulation, he was banished to the prisoner island of Patmos. It is here that he saw this great vision.

John, through his own personal tribulation, identified with end-time Christians in their future tribulation. I think we can say that he also identifies with all Christians throughout the centuries who have been persecuted in one way or another. Why does he identify? Because he is a “fellow participant”, a “companion”, a “partner” and “fellow-partaker” in the brotherhood of tribulation for Jesus.

I feel the temperature rising, just walking through modern, post-modern, liberal/socialist Canadian culture. Can you feel the temperature rising? Our governments have turned it up a notch. Liberal/NDP governments have adopted a woke, pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, deconstructionist, post-modern, globalist worldview and value system that, in my opinion, is antithetical to Christian faith. Where they can,  they ram it down our throats.

Like never before Liberal/NDP governments are telling Canadians what we are allowed to believe and  say. We are pressured to accept a value system, ideologies and even vaccines that are utterly unacceptable to us. We have seen our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, freedom of mobility clawed back by aggressive governments that do not respect our charter of rights or our sacred beliefs.

Do you feel the temperature rising. I am your brother in the tribulation. Fear not. Brother, sister, we are non-conformists to this system. We belong to another kingdom. We belong to another kingdom that operates on different laws, higher laws. We follow Jesus. We accept “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, ...”

When I say that we belong to another kingdom, remember the next part of the verse. John is not only our brother in the tribulation, but also in the;“...kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, ...” We belong to the kingdom of Jesus Christ and we have His fruit of patience growing in us.

We are going to need this patience for the days ahead. Things will intensify. However, we have chosen our side. John was a good example for us but Jesus has provided an even greater example for us. He is with us. He is our strong tower.

I am your brother “...in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, ...” You are my brother, my sister “...in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, ...” Through patience, peaceful protest, passive resistance, non-conformity and Jesus-kingdom living we will overcome. God bless you.
